Telehealth sessions are being offered in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many insurance companies have approved telehealth sessions for eligible services, including outpatient therapy. Please check with your insurance company to verify that these services are covered.
You can choose to have a session that includes a live video feed, or you can choose a telephone-based session with audio only. For the option involving video, I use a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted version of Zoom. You can typically use any device that has a camera for the session. A strong WiFi signal is needed for good call quality. Zoom does require that you create a free account. I will send the link to you by e-mail prior to the session. If you don't receive the link by the time of your session, please contact me at 704-362-1124.
